This permanent hair removal laser works with 4 wavelengths:

• Alexandrite's 755nm wavelength improves melanin chromophore energy absorption, making it suitable for a wide range of hair colors and types, especially light, fine hair. Due to its extremely good surface penetration, the 755 nm wave is very effective for hair removal in the eyebrow and upper lip areas.
• 810nm is a classic hair removal wavelength that provides deep penetration into the hair follicle and high average power, fast repetition rate, and a large 2cm working spot for effective treatments. The 810 nm wave has a moderate level of melanin absorption, so it is safe for darker skin types. Its deep penetration capabilities target the bump and bulb of the hair follicle, while its medium-depth tissue penetration is ideal for the arms, legs, cheeks and chin areas.
• The YAG 1064 nm wavelength has less melanin absorption, making it perfect for darker skin types. Also, 1064nm is able to penetrate deeply into the hair follicle and affect the bulb and papilla, thereby affecting deep rooted hair in the scalp, armpits and pubic areas.
• An additional wave of 940 nm is intended for the removal of skin redness and blood vessels.
